A life-long interest in model and toy trains, John has constructed six major, and very different, HO layouts in his lifetime. As a person who enjoys rail history and sharing stories about it, his interests have long been settled on the Monon as his favorite road.

An owner of the famous, and legendary, American Flyer train set he received Christmas of 1959, John cherishes model railroading as the best of all hobbies. It's no wonder that The Depot has become a second home for him.
